Located close to the main surf camps, this wave offers both left and right-hand sections, making it a versatile option for surfers looking for quality waves without the intensity of some of the heavier reefs nearby.
The wave performs best on medium-sized swells, producing clean walls that are ideal for turns, cutbacks, and flowing lines. While barrels can occasionally form on the right conditions, The Peak is primarily known for its fun and forgiving shape rather than heavy, technical surfing.
Its convenient location and consistent performance make it a popular choice for surfers of varying experience levels. On smaller days, it can provide an excellent alternative when larger, more exposed spots become challenging or crowded.
The wave can become busy during peak surf season, especially during clean morning conditions.
